6,830 Coaches still have him and unfortunately I’m one. Is anyone else wondering what to do with the struggling Bomber? My heart sinks when I think of all the other mids who were on my initial ‘long list’ but didn’t make the cut, mids that cost far less than the 400k I paid for Brent and are scoring much higher.

With Bombers performing so poorly, it’s hard to see Brent averaging 75-80 from here on in, a far cry from the 92+ of last year. I think this is the ‘now or never’ week with Brent. I’m considering breaking all the ‘DT rules’ and downgrading him to a Cotchin/Wellingham. The extra dough I free would help me shoot my other problem – Gram – Who would become the Chad.

My midfield would then be Chapman, Hayes, Cross, Stevens, Gibbs, Palmer…. New Rookie, Browne – Solid rather than Spectacular. It would be a big risk too, to have such thin coverage on the pine, and increased pressure would be on Palmer and Gibbs to keep pumping out the 80+ scores until one would then become Kornes.

If I trade Brent, he’ll probably stick it up me with three 100s on the trot. If I don’t, he’ll probably eek out three 70s. Next four games are Adel, Haw, WCE and Carl.

Can Stants turn it around?

Ive had him since rnd 1:mad: I am giving him one more chance this week, and if he doesnt get more then 80+ then im giving him the flick:thumbsu:

Cant handle tags too well. I would stick with him. Waste of cash trading him out now. Glad I picked Hayes instead of Stanton at the start of the year :)

Looking to him to come in if I pick up an injury in the middle that requires a straight swap. I think he will turn it around at some stage.

I said that on Brock McLean last year though. Didn't happen.

Had him since Rnd 1. I'll stick with him even though his poor scores are very frustrating. He is priced in the low $300,000s so hardly worth selling him when I only have 7 trades left.

He will come good at some stage.

Keep going down baby ;)

I've got him, will be my 6th midfielder next week, will keep him, have to come good at some stage.

Hopefully with Watson back soon they'll tag him (Like Geelong did in Round 2).
