I'm on the same wavelength I think, on this broad issue at least. I think my problem is I come over all superior which gets whoever's defences up, and then the heels dig in...your last point though, very true for some, just like banging my head against a wall when talking to those types.
One day I'll learn how to handle people like that a whole lot better, currently I percieve it as a weakness of mine.
