8 are a walk up start for the 22 which makes me think once these players are back we should be right.

Maybe we dont have as good depth as what i thought.

I would really like in times with alot of players out to play a couple of the youngens ie :drum and campbell. I thought they both did extremely well in the NAB cup. I like campbells attack on the ball , but could be a down side cause you cant run through players anymore.

It can only get better.:)

Our depth is pretty good but you can't expect to replace 8 of your first 22 without some drop off in performance. If we didn't have handy depth we could've had much worse results in both our games so far.

We should see much improved performances once we get some key players back - particularly MJ, Blackie and the Wiz. I reckon those three would've been almost enough to tip the Ess game in our favour.

The main reason we lost the first 2 games was our defence. I cant wait for MJ, Scotty Thornton and Blackie to come back. We were able to kick 100 points in the opening 2 rounds so our forwards are going ok and the midfield must be doing something decent if the forwards are getting the ball.... Strengthen the defence the side will look a lot better....

agree again pistol, MJ, scotty and blackie are all very important players, i reckon thornton in particular is underrated, but he seems a fair way off yet, MJ back will mean mundy can play his floating role and blackie with his skills is vital to our rebound and inside fifties

Obviously the consensus is we must lose this match because we haven't brought in anyone who has never played a consistent game at AFL level before. No Dunn, Ibbotson, Collard.

I was waiting for someone to post that O'brien was 2.92 in the 20m at last years draft camp. There's your answer to speed problems right there. Anyone under 3.00 second is usually lightening quick. But can he play?

How much will we win by Daggs?

No Ralph, we already have one in the team and he must have compromising pictures...

can someone tell where is drum i havent heard of him in any wafl games and to be honest not sure which wafl side he plays for but i reckon he adds toughness and is good at hitting a target with the pill

I feel really sorry for Webster - what did he do to deserve being dropped before Walker or Gilmore?

I reckon Webster will play and tag Wallypunda. If Gilmore and Longmuir both play I'll be angry.

I cant believe Gilmore got another gig, i also cant believe Conolly would rather play Gilmore as a backup ruckman when longy is out then say Campbell who is so close to getting a run or Warnock who was recruited as a ruck... Is it just me that doesnt understand this, a midfielder pinch hitting in the ruck???

i dont usually like to bag out my own players, but gilmore is a hack and shouldnt ever play again in our jumper, id rather a half fit longmuir thana fully fit gilmore anyday

I'd rather have Belly as the back up ruckman than Gilmore.

If Gilmore plays - it's ultimatum time - stand up, or be gone 4 rest of year.

Exactly right. If he doesnt stand up he will have to find another club at the end of the year.

I like Gilmore in a way.. because he is big bodied and fast.. but his disposal and decision making is just ****. Don't know if we should get rid of him.. I'd rather we keep him over our tough as nails, hard at it James Walker.
