I agree to a point . Especially ACL. I don't believe I listed any ACL players.I feel like players with long-term injuries should be excluded from stealing a wage.
because that means almost every player no matter how good they are if they have like an ACL is that classified as stealing a wage? given there out for so long, for me the players are stealing a wage are players that are on big money and not performing on game day.
Soccer wages are insane; they aren’t a reasonable point of comparison IMOI don't think AFL players really get paid enough to get this label. They may not be worth the contracts they are on but most of them are still out their playing AFL or state league. Soccer you have teams that have youth sides but no reserves so you get a mid 20s guy on tens of thousands a week literally doing nothing.

Which players are either over rated, over paid, or regularly not putting in the effort in the two hours a week that matter, game day.
I'll start
Ben McKay (is he the most over paid player in AFL/VFL history?)
JUH
Dylan Shiel
Andrew McGrath
Jade Gresham
Lachie Fogarty
Mitch McGovern
Isaac Quaynor
Tom Cole
Oscar Allen
Jayden Hunt
Tom McDonald
Bailey Fritsch
Harrison Petty
Nat Fyfe
So people who use to be good get a pension for life?Surely Fyfe has done enough to garner some kinda wage?

He got delisted last year though didn’t he ?.
Didn’t he ??!!.

Seems to be way over in WA. Nicnat got a pension for good service.
Nick Haynes should simply not be on a list.
Back-ended contracts for service rendered maybe - that's certainly what's happening with Tom Lynch at this point. So people who use to be good get a pension for life?

Yeah but wait until Raz and Harry come back. He’s one of Carltons perennial “missing injured players” now they’ve got rid of Marchbank & Martin
Tom won the Dogs a Flag, worth it for sure.Tom Boyd and Tom Scully probably still ahead.
You could probably ask that question to most of the Carlton team. How much is Zac Williams getting paid to be a very mediocre footballer?
Bloke is a free agent this season . Calling it now, he will get a 5 year extension at 4 million dollars. Not $800,000 each year for 5 years. More like front ended.Ok time served you say but what if players paid on "potential" but who never actually come good?
Like Oscar Allen..Dude literally can't get a kick at all.
He's now 26.
Thief.
So similar to me with my betting of backing Freo to lose each week? LoLSimon Goodwin.
Especially as it’s only going back over on to the TAB and for things that come primarily in little lock seal bags
