An accent that would have been heard more commonly in Australia a generation ago, more or less an ocker accent.

I liked the exchange where Rove says "When you are in the States, don't you turn up the ocker factor just a little bit?" His response: "NUP!".

I guess you could say he couldn't possibly, considering he is pretty much at maximum ocker factor already.

I totally agree that the hybrids seems to be the worst. It doesn't seem to be a hybrid so much as a series of slipping in and out of both of them, as if the mind can't make up its mind which one is "correct".

I told my wife not to lose hers, and she's told me not to lose mine. I just hope that if we decide to have kids that they won't have that weird hybrid.

Am I the only one that thinks he puts on the ocker accent when the camera is on him, my guess he doesnt usually talk like that, just doing what Hogan & Bazza McKenzie did before him, they talk the way they think that other countries think we sound like, gives me the shytes actually I hate the way these so called celebreties make out we all really talk like that.

He sounds tacky and over-the-top to most Aussies too and ummm....I sound nothing like him. Catch him in a quiet moment with his guard down and I think you'll find it's all put on. Nobody is that ocker without hamming it up.

Cant argue with that at all. There was a little crisis at my place, people banging on windows etc, had to call the cops, but I still had time to sit there and admire
