Where is Kelly at guys?
Looked like being a gun before breaking his leg in Perth.
Has he just not been the same since, or does he need a bit more time after such a bad injury?
With Kelbo, you can relate it to Corey Enright. He was a gun before he got injured and its taken him a while to get back to the game he used to play. So give Kelbo time, but yeah if he doesnt do something he has to go. Like SJ.

It has nothing to do with the injury, it's all attitude, he thinks he's gods gift to football and when you hear the media saying how good he is, it's hard to ignore.

He deserved to be dropped many times this year and was eventually dumped only to return, after two average VFL games. His recall was not warranted.

He's forgotten what it was that made him so highly rated early on in his GFC career. But when you have a coach who has allowed him to remain like this and is a key reason why he has turned into a a lazy sh*t, what can you do?

Kicked 2 tough goals early on that just kept us in it. Would have been 6 goals down in the 2nd quarter without him.

Debatable. To say it won us the game is ridiculous.

Nick Davis' last quarter against us in the final is a match-winning performance. Steve Johnson has yet to give us one but strangely keeps on being labelled as a match-winner.

I'm sorry i have to disagree. The guy has had a broken leg, broken arm or collar bone whatever it was at the start of the season and is currently having injections to play with a back problem....

Id say it has a lot to do with injury.....

As for his ankles, the fact that they are chronic puts them in the same category as Monty's height or Ling's lack of pace - part of the package. They're not going to get better, so if he's not going to play accountable footy and contribute week in week out with his ankles as they are, then he's got to go. We're a f***ing footy club, not a charity.

Excellently put. A small fact everyone seems to ignore - this is his fifth season. Not his second or third. Same with Kelly. I really don't care anymore about his alleged "matchwinning abilities" because they are just fantasy. We never see them.

No other club would accept such mediocrity - why should we?

Never said that. If you had read my post properly, you will see I said "Would have lost to the Bulldogs without him", which I stand by. The same could be said about Hunt, or Scarlett, for example, in the same game.

Also, how is it debatable that without SJ's two low percentage goals early on (when we were playing horribly) we would have been 6 goals down? We were four goals down as it was, it makes sense.

Agree, except Lonergan might be worth keeping as a key defender. Certainly not a forward though.

And I would expect both KK and Henry to be playing quite a bit of VFL next year.
More like all of next year haha.

Nice pick up, catempire.

Send my money to me now Jess.

After B&F like the bet stated.

I'm so glad he has turned things around but I wouldn't take back how I felt last year. We (I) had a right to be angry at him because he was obviously stuffing around treating the GFC like crap.
