I was told stevens. Heard This morning (not on bigfooty) that walker had been dropped, was just told not long ago that Walker was in due to a Stevens Hammy.

If true, I sit on the fence with this one. While i rate him very highly (he is always underrated) he can be atrocious below the knees and this would also allow Walker to remain in the side which i am very much looking forward to seeing.

The dim-witted duo on double AA has said nothing about Scott Stevens injury and they would break it straight away if something had happened at training today.
They were discussing the possibility of the second out being between Hentschel or Walker – so either they don’t know (and i find that strange to believe as they would have had a source as well) or it didn’t happen.

Assuming you're not wrong, that's a big blow. Steveo's in hot form.
Having said that, with Walker out, you'd assume the plan was to have Stevens play predominantly up forward. In slippery conditions, Walker isn't much of a downgrade from Steveo as a forward. Still, we'll miss his versatility. Might see Trent spend time in the backlines again if things go pear shaped.
That only accounts for this week though. Do you know how bad the injury is?
We seriously can't afford to lose Stevens for long. He's become a VERY important player. Particularly with the loss of Bass and Massie last year. I hope he's okay!

Even if he is not, he wouldn’t be an ‘out’ as he wasn’t an ‘in’ round 1
