Trent Hentschel with Walker and Tippett play as forwards.

I think we will be stretched nevertheless. Not there was much we could do about it as I don't realistcally thnk any of the young talls were options eg Sellar Davis and McKernan.

We will struggle if Reieowldt and Kossie turn it on. Bock and Rutten are obviously pivotal.

If the Saints throw Gardiner Kossie and Reiwoldt forward at the same time, who picks up the third tall?

Let them try, these days teams rarely pull stunts like that because they'd get hurt far too much going the other way, especially if as predicted, its likely to be a bit dewy on friday. Clubs rarely play 3 genuine talls up forward these days because it limits the pressure they can put on our defenders when the ball spills or as we're bringing the ball out of defense. Rutten on Kosi, Bock on Riewoldt, even Otten could probably go with Riewoldt at a pinch.

We'll miss Stevens, as will my Dream Team, lucky for young Taylor by the sounds, hopefully this will fire him up into putting on a bit of a show friday. Shame about Cook, but 1 or 2 blokes were always going to be unlucky, thats the nature of the beast, 24 was never going to go into 22.

Bock on Riewoldt
Rutten on Gardiner
19th man on Koshitzke but if he gets going I would think Otten with Hentshel as a spare man in defence

I cant believe that Taylor Walker wouldve been one of the players to be dropped for this week. If this is true our selectors really need to be looked at.

First of all Walker only played a bit over half a game in his first game for some strange reason and secondly he is the sort of player that we need to keep giving experience. Playing him back in the SANFL would be a waste of time. Hes already shown that he can dominate at that level. I know it was only trial games but Walker played really well during those games including featuring both times in the best players list in the trials against Sydney and Hawthorn and also kicking 3 goals in each game which he only played roughly half a game. What more does he have to do.

I know that he was a harsh call on Cooky but i really feel Walker has to played and given as much AFL experience as we can.

It was also very hard for Walker to get into the game. He was given no space to lead into and also didn't get much time on ground. It'd been hard for him to get a rhythm. However whenever he got it he was so composed and looked to have so much time. I've got a feeling he'll turn it up this week as he'll want to put a good performance at home and try to impress the selectors so he stays in the side next week. Give him some space and look for him on the lead and he'll kick a bag.

Taylor's a gu. that second shot he had from outside 50 last week he would nail 8-9 times out of ten. Given a few games to get some confidence and good delivery he'll be a very good kpp forward for you guys. Hawthorn have a lot of scholarship kids from broken hill, in my opinion you guys got the best by far. best kid out of broken hill since Dean Solomon.

Losing Stevens is a huge blow for us as he can chip in with 3-4 goals in attack or nullify a quality forward playing in defence.

Taylor Walker, step on down son. Plenty of TOG for him seeing as we are a little stretched for height this week. Porps should play forward as well this week as he was built for slippery night games. Trent might have to go down back again if we are in a bit of strife.
