You got us there!. I won't hear of Harry Taylor being bagged though, he is a first year player and sure against the big bodies he struggles as he hasn't built the conditioning up yet required to look after them but for a guy playing his first year in the AFL having to take the place of Mathew Egan (AA CHB last year) who took on the monsters then he has done an incredible job.

From memory young Harry did pretty well on Riewoldt last time they played (think Roo got a few possies, but they were all well up the ground).

Don't think for a moment that Bomber will isolate Taylor on Roo or Kosi in the finals. He was testing him when he gave him jobs on Hale, and Barry. I would imagine that Taylor will stick with Riewoldt as he runs out of defence, but when in the 50 expect one Tom Harley and Darren Milburn to come floating across the pack to give Taylor the extra cover - sure Riewoldt will still take a grab or two, but i doubt he will be as influential as he has been against second rate teams.

And yes Kane Tenace is a fair point - but it should also be mentioned that we have given up on him and don't consider him for selection anymore - same realisation has not become apparent with the Clarke brothers.

I know its a stupid idea, but how about putting Gehrig on an extended bench to throw Geelong a little? Every little advantage we can get will help:)!

With that said, mini has to come in. We need someone to try and tie down the midfielders at Geelong.

Whilst I'm pretty happy with our back 6 (even without the Goose), I reckon Harry T is OK.

Needs to improve his kicking, which looks a little dodgy amongst his teammates who move the ball so quickly.

Has the frame to become quite a strong unit though.

I'd go with a Milburn on Roo, as he's such an agrressive _ucker and can run.

This is a list of the players and their stats from the game in Round FOUR:

3 Clarke, X 9 67 5 4 0 0 0 3 2 0 6 13 65

Fiora isn't playing anymore. Neither is Goose (who was struggling then with injury). Neither is Gehrig. Neither is Leigh Fisher. Admittedly, Ball, Dempster and possibly Xavier aren't playing either. But look at the players who have grown in that time (Jones, Gilbert after injury, Goddard, even Blake). And look at some of the ins since then, such as Eddy, etc. Throw in a better understanding of game-plan, and hey nobody can come into this game looking at the last time we played as a guage (although it is worth pointing out it was only a loss of 42 points).

Geelong supporters are unreal. They think they should have the cup and flag delivered to Skilled Stadium right now. They haven't played us at our best and there's no reason as to why we can't stick it up their cocky arses on Sunday afternoon. I'm feeling more confident than I have for the entire year even though we're playing the best side in the competition. But this week I think they will be relegated to second best...

Hhmmmm ... goin' real well :

"The AFL career of reluctant Geelong forward Nathan Ablett is over, with the 2007 premiership star keen to pursue a career in the building industry.
Ablett was considering a return to football after resuming training with the club's VFL side in July, but an ankle injury has thwarted his attempt at a comeback."

Got me there, I should've got the paper first!!

I don't think the majority of supporters feel cocky and that it's all over before it's even started. But definately confident. More importantly I don't think the players are cocky.
It's still a 2 horse race...
