I was flicking between the cricket and footy but to be honest everytime I did it the Dogs had a free kick in front of goal. Personally, I didn't think the Essendon defence was terribly undisciplined. The 50 against Fletcher was the biggest laugh *Fletcher waves arms as if to way what the*, ump gives 50 for 'remonstrative behaviour'. What a joke.

the first free kick was there, thats the new rule. Even though the handball wasn't going to Reimers, the bulldog player stoped him from making a run at it. The umpire blew time off so the kick shouldn't have been allowed and therefor no second 50.

******** could use a class defender like Hurley, maybe even play him up forward, but I don't understand the logic behind picking up Yarran when he is a poor man's Eddie Betts/Jeffrey Garlett. Then again this rabble did pick up Chris Johnson after he proved he couldn't cut it at AFL level, so their recruiting is pretty much a joke all round.

Secondly, what does Sam Longergan bring to the team exactly? He has to be one of the crappiest players I have ever seen. What do Essendon fans really think of him?
