Will be funny when Napoli buy Maksimovic and then still tell us to **** off :'(

Still think we need a CB before the window closes. Terry's body could go down hill quickly at his age, I'm not sold on Cahill and Zouma is still months away. I don't want to be rely on Ivanovic to pick up the slack.
Napoli are doing what Everton did to us all last window

I just hope we don't panic buy and spend 30m on someone who is hardly an upgrade on Cahill just for the sake of it. I'd rather just stick to what we have, aim for a good LB and maybe integrate some youf.

Southampton would be crazy to sell Bertrand at this stage of the window. Any replacement they get will be much inferior.

I'd rate Bertrand as the best LB in the PL at this stage.

Just a shame we were so against him a couple of years ago. Much like not warning Sturridge as part of the Torres deal...

Funnily enough I was one who said we should sign him two years ago and I was slated by fellow LFC forum members for doing so :) :)

I remember this so I'll back you up on this one as I always thought he was underrated and was against selling him. I distinctly remember a couple of prominent pool posters calling him dogshit before listing a few world class talents they should be aiming for. Of course they ended up being pipe dreams.

I don't mind us being their main sponsor
We shouldn't give ourselves too much credit on that. London got the ball running with Walcott (12M), Oxlade-Chamberlain (15M) and Chambers (16M) to Arsenal; and Bale (7M) and Wanyama (11M) to Spurs. Of course only two of those were more recent, but so were Schneiderlin (25M) and Shaw (27M) to Man U.

That's four recent ones to compare to our 4 recent ones: Lallana (25M), Clyne (12.5M), Lovren (20M) and Mane (35M). Normally people include Lambert but he was only 4M and if we're going that cheap you can talk about others like Cork to Swans. And the Chinese chipped in 12M for Pelle.

That makes up for the slating you didn't get for saying Big Caz is one of the best young forwards in the world ;)

What a surprise that Chelsea have offloaded all the young players on loan . These guys will NEVER get a game and are wasting their careers on a cycle of crappy loans.

You seem quite offened by this.

Aina, RLC, Chalobah, Kenedy and Tomori are all in the squad and will get games throughout the season.

Others will get more game time elsewhere and if good enough will return and play. If not will be sold and go on to have careers elsewhere.

Not to mention Zouma and Courtois had successful loan spells and are both entrenched into our starting XI when fit.

Good luck to you sir. The fan boys will be here soon to tell how great it is :)

Its not great, but its not easy as well. Most of these guys have been signed before their 10th birthdays so it no surprise that not many end up being Chelsea quality.

Plus KDB, Bertrand and Rom would be starters as well if it wasnt for Mou.

That'd be almost half of our starting 11.

Nasri maybe off to Besiktas on loan. With Hart possibly leaving on loan it would be a fair match up between Chelsea loanees and City loanees this season.

Did chuckle a bit at how much this thread was trying to will Palace into not paying up for Benteke the past few days, even though they clearly would and have been that way for ages
I did find it all hilarious. That Beneke was gonna be impossible to move and that we would have to take a low ball figure of like 15 million. So many lols.

Instead we just pretty much get our money back which I knew we would do all along considering the current market.

But trolls gotta troll.

They'd be hoping he improves on last week.
2 games, 3 OG's and a sending off for kicking a ball at a player (2nd yellow) :$
