Walcott doesn't seem like a money hungry player though, he's a pretty grounded bloke with his head screwed on right and I can see him taking a pay cut to stay in England. Playing for the national team is important to him as well, and playing in China removes any chance of that.

It's all pretty redundant at the moment for as long as Wenger is manager he isn't going anywhere. Why we gave him that massive contract extension is beyond me.

I can see Pep flopping as well. Never had to manage a squad that wasn't elite and won't have the luxury of trying out new tactics on shit teams every week.

Not sure what expectations are of him but if the rumours are true and he's going to spend billions on overhauling the best squad in England then I'd say if they don't have the league wrapped up in February it's going to be a massive fail.

We could have won all 27 games by the end of February this season and still not have the league wrapped up. So I think you may end up disappointed if you have those expectations of Pep.
