I can think of a couple of reasons. Sounds like all of the chatter is coming from his end at the moment. He's fishing for a move, I haven't heard anything concrete from any reliable sources that we're biting. Normally if a move of this magnitude was going to happen there'd be more than a couple of headlines in The S*n and La Gazetto Dello Sport.
