I don't think he slots straight in seamlessly, and suspect one of Uniteds bigger name players might have to make way for him.

i presume he plays in the double pivot replacing fellaini. not sure he has the discipline currently to stay in there, and would leave midfield exposed, especially with carrick's legs being gone with the wind.
