i would expect liverpool and palace to eventually meet on terms. under klopp, where would benteke rank if everyone was fit? behind sturridge, origi, firmino, sane, maybe ings?

if you could get around 22 mil or whatever for a 4/5th in line front man you're not doing too badly honestly.

if liverpool can get benteke, ilori, wisdom, balotelli, markovic and alberto off the books they would be pretty happy.

Wisdom I believe we'll retain for lower level cup matches and cover at FB. Markovic I don't see going anywhere, he put a lot of minutes in pre season and Klopp has said good things about him. Ilori & Alberto we have had offers for from Deportivo & Sevilla respectively which haven't met our valuation. Expecting deals to get done for those two.

As for Benteke yes the club is looking to sell him but aren't desperate to do so. There are plenty of clubs chasing him, also a few willing to take him on loan so if we don't get the deal we want we may just loan him for the season and pocket £4m while someone pays his wages. Can see an agreement with Palace being reached in the not too distant future.

Gotta love deadwood sales.

I thought with Phelan's Utd connections you should be able to pick up a few of their players on loan.

Not sure he'd have any connections left?

Does SAF have any involvement in the football department anymore?

Probably not but I would imagine he has enough influence to help his friends out still in management with loan signings of fringe / unwanted united players.

We are stacked at CB not sure why we are linked with Mustafi and Indi.

We have Lovren and Klavan starting with Matip off the bech gaining match fitness, Wisdom as a reserve CB, Ilori as another reserve CB who will be back from the Olympics next week and Sakho and Gomez who will be back from injury in 3 weeks. Lucas (back next week) can fill in there too.

Need a LB.

Because you might wanna look at your transfer record for the past few years

And justifying Pogba at 100+ mil being alright is sorta hypocritical, Pogba at 100+ mil while being a very good player is still ridiculously overpriced. Oh wait here come the Man Utd accountants telling us the exact figures (or the wage figures that suit their narrative) of merchandise and whatever fee and that fee that makes it look like it isn't that expensive afterall. Happens every window

Anyhow, I got no dog in this fight, I don't care about Chelsea transfer businesses or how much they pay, I'll leave it to the Man Utd fans to take care of that
Surely United fans are best to judge whether a team has overpaid or not no? Because we have so much experience doing it. Love how some on here paint a whole fanbase with the same brush based on one fans comments lol.

[*]Sam Allardyce has rejected an offer from the FA to dictate the playing style and tactics of England's junior teams.

How ****ed is that the the FA would even give him the option.

If you want a national style, choose it and make appointments to fit. Not just give the current bloke in charge full power to **** up junior as well as senior teams.

Nah, United fans are great at defending their own overspending and tell us it actually isn't, to then go say another club is overspending would be rich (and United is very rich in many ways).

Really? Painting a whole fanbase with the same brush? Loads of trolling of Liverpool do the same with our fans here, so by your logic I should be the best to judge who's painting brushes and no I ain't painting brushes

Man Utd fans always act so precious when people disagree with them, there I do paint you there, but it's actually true so it's fine;)

lol. who is defending it. We often get reamed on transfers. It only matters if you are overpaying for shite like Rojo. If you are buying quality then who cares. This is pretty much chef's argument and Pants is just pointing out that in a hypothetical world where players are traded for their intrinsic value, then K2 is not worth 60 bars. why are you crying? Act so precious lololol You are the one having a dig at all united fans on the back of a convo between a chelsea fan and a United fan.....so why are you crying again?

Fee has been agreed for Tekkers.

27mil + 5mil add ons.
Add ons meant to be realistic ones too.

Big investment from Palace. But he's a good player that should score plenty.

Sassuolo & Chievo both want him but can offer SFA or want to pay 5m or so over 3 years in small instalments. Wages are also an issue, 50k a week seems to be the absolute limit for them and Balo is on 80k / week.

I have heard those Port Vale & Wolves rumours but don't see it happening. Balo is too lazy for the championship. The best place for him now is either playing in China for some stupid amount of money or playing back at home in Italy. Most likely he'll sit out his contract doing nothing at this stage as we aren't even registering him in our PL squad this season.
I think we will end up loaning him out somewhere to pretty much whoever will pay the most % of his wages. This is his last year of his contract so he will be gone after this season so if we cant sell him, we will loan him out and do our best not to have to pay most of his wages.

Reckon Palace not scoring at home against WBA has played beautifully into Liverpool's demands here, and they've caved in.
Pretty sure you guys are all wrong.

Benteke will be sold for about 10 million as Palace have registered an interest in Remy.

They've already bid 23 + 7. I expect this to drag another 2 weeks and we'd probs end up with 27 + 3.

Almost got it right. Only took 7 hours but with an extra 2mil of addons.
