So Liverpool look to have gone off Moreno. With Blind and Rodriguez (apparently) the new targets. Rodriguez IMO would be too pricey for what Rodgers is willing to pay, could get Rojo as well, who hasn't impressed me a hell of a lot so far in the WC and WC qualifiers

Also said we (Liverpool) could be preparing another attempt at Lallana, Give up already Brendan! We can get better players for less outside of the UK.... Lallana is a good player don't get me wrong, but for over 25m :eek::eek::eek:
English players are always overpriced.

thats why the market is rarely taped in too.

You can move twice in the same window as long as you don't play a game for the club.

Vince Grella (Leckies agent) has apparently had calls from 5 Bundesliga clubs this week.

Good signing for you guys - I believe we've been linked to him in the past and that he can play as a CB as well? Wonder if he will be played in defence or midfield? With Reid, Tomkins and Collins as well as Spence, you guys have a bit of competition in the squad.

While I'm sure he will miss playing in the CL, the Premier League is a much more prestigious league and represents a big step up for him. I'm sure he's also getting a pay rise too which would help! :p

Box to Box Midfielder we'll play him as apparently (Noble pretty much has the defensive midfielder distributor role to himself these days).

Probably gives us the option of selling Diame as well if a suitable offer comes in.

Agree with this.

Costa is skillful but not exceptionally so (his touch isn't his best attribute), he's better when facing goal than with his back to it, he's a very good finisher, he's quick, and his aggressive nature coupled with his size means he can bully defenders. I'm sure he'll do well in the EPL next season and his work rate (the key to his success as a player last season) will no doubt make him a favourite of Mourinho's.

I think the Premier League has been missing a dickhead since Mario left, I'm looking forward to the chaos this guy creates.
I think Chelsea got Burnley on opening day. I hope some no name English CB that Burnley no doubt has, runs through the back of him in the opening minutes. A sort of welcome to England tackle. Just to see what he will do :D

That would be excellent considering we have him the weekend after ;)

based on his spain 'efforts', i think it'd be best to leave him in

True, has been dire for Spain. But then again, everyone was horrible for Spain.

As for Liverpool, Moreno looks off the table now. Things looked promising early with Ayre actually managing to sort deal out for Lambert and Can very quickly. Then it was back to good old Liverpool with Lallana and Moreno.

If we cant get it done. More on. Lallana is overpriced anyways and their are other options at LB outside of Moreno. Id love us to go after Rodriguez. Still plenty of rumours surrounding Sanchez and Shaqiri which would be epic.

Young Aussie Curtis Good is apparently a transfer target for Dundee United (who he was on loan with last season prior to his injury). Doubt we'd sell him, he's still got 4-5 years left on his contract I think.

Wenger probably wouldn't make a move on Mandzukic as he's perhaps too similar a player to Giroud. Balotelli would a be a brilliant acquisition (provided he gets it right in between the ears).

Probably. But Wenger is a big fan of Mario, and personally Mario has more potenital

Should buy both, sell Giroud

Dont let freofan_mundy see this

Does Wenger actually really like Mario?

Can't sell Giroud, he's the team eye candy, who else will be the distraction?
