So the Monaco owner has given up making them a force?
seems to be selling all their talent .
Don't think, wages aside, players really dig it at Monaco either.

Last season I'm pretty sure the av attendance at Monaco home games was sub 10,000. Play there or play at the Santiago Bernabeu week in week out?

I hear the French league invented some rules to stop Monaco taking advantage of the tax situation.

55-56m plus addons that add up to 63m
50m+ is about the going rate for a top 15 player in the world these days, so it's probably par for the course.

He's only 26 as well, in his prime.

Good deal imo, these types of players aren't available every day, he's also the best winger in the world coming into a league where world class wingers usually tear shit to pieces, see Ronaldo, Bale and Robben.

Still not what they need though, but when the quality's available you've got to add it.

It's not the highest priority. We definitely need a good winger (Young is shit and Janu isn't ready). I see the wing as third priority. Need a DM and a CB.

Yeah I agree, Young to Di Maria is like going from Majak Daw to Wayne Carey.

There's going to be a big upgrade in that respect, and will probably afford a lot of space to Mata through the middle. I honestly think the prem suits Di Maria completely, wingers get heaps of 1-on-1's in general with the space afforded in England, and Di Maria is one of the best one-on-one dribblers in the world.

I don't think your attack is your problem though, you've got some absolutely world class players in there still, but you can always have more I guess.

Your issues lie in the fact your going to struggle to add anything meaningful until next summer in probably the #1 priority there. I don't think the Van Gaal reign was ever going to be a one summer quick fix anyway.
