Why do we keep overpaying?

Is it overpaying though? How much less than €25m (£19m) do you think we should have paid for a promising young attacker like Markovic? Keeping in mind that the price index for players, particularly young players, has obviously increased relative to 10 years ago when this would have seemed like a lot of money for this type of player.

Pogba would probs be getting a huge payrise, so I could see him be happy with a move.

You can have a loan who isn't your guest. My understanding is you can have 5 foreign players, and either Lamps or Villa would be just a straight loan.
