what do u expect the crowd to get up to on sunday evening, with both sides getting closer to 30,000 i wouldnt be surrised if the attendance surpassed 55,000 as it is also Rd 1

all depends on how many of the carlton lukewarms turn up...I'm tipping over 63,000 if good weather:thumbsu:

should be fine and 23 during the day :)

so, im thinking 59,958

It could be anything. I mean it's Tigers and Blues...blockbuster territory if both sides have any hope at all and R1 could be marketed as the Hope Round since everyone is looking on the bright side. I originally thought about 57,000 but you won the pre season thing and we are selling memberships ahead of last years total. With decent weather and you at "Home" in our home ground it could be 65,000 and honestly it should be as well.

I'm excited like a kid and I honestly think the tiger hordes will be out in force for this one even though we are "away"

Under 50,000 = disappointing
50,000 - 60,000 = OK result
60,000 - 70,000 = great result
70,000 + = Blues make some serious $$$$

Considering Carltons start to the season, and Richmond supporters filled with hope for the new season, I can see 65,000 people at the G. Would love it to be more, but have to agree with Thrawn here. The fact that it is a Twilight match might hurt the crowd numbers a fraction.

I genuinely think both sets of supporters are keen and raring to go, both expecting their sides to at least improve on last season, I think if weather permits, it could nudge 70,000, which will be awesome.

Saturday Night = Stay out late
Sunday Morning = wake up do nothing
Sunday Afternoon = do nothing and relax
Sunday Evening = go to the footy

I think it will help crowd numbers

And that's exactly what I'll be doing DC.
Nothing will keep me away from the MCG on Sunday afternoon. :thumbsu: :thumbsu:

Starting to get very very pumped now. Not long to go now.

I'll predict 52,500

Sunday twilight has been a bit of a flop in the past and this will probably be the biggest twilight crowd of the year, not a good time as many would be wanting to get home and wind down before the working week, but i hope i'm wrong and there are over 60k there.
