That's one interpretation. I tend to think he's naturally all head, no heart and has "no" emotions to display. Emotionally unintelligent imo. I'm completely okay with Scott's emotional transparency. He is open about his feelings, but I hardly think he lets them control him. Ridiculous implication, if that's where you're heading. He's clearly intelligent and thinks deeply about the game, as well.
