I dont reckon many people r interested in the 2's Chest, but I hear that theres a few blokes from balranald way out at Merbein atm but only one or 2 of them will play ones. They got a young bloke from r'vale ryan mccaig training there, he reckons he's a shot to break into the seniors. Its Lookin up for them though.. Atleast they wont be running around last minute tryin to find blokes to fill their 2s.
Only been trainin once this seasn so far at the cliffs.. No new faces, few young blokes who played snrs last year leaving so im guessin that wont benefit our ressies if the beta players r being promoted..

The only real question is will any 1 be able to knock imps of for the flag this year. they always win when they need to. we nearly had them in the prelim last year but they still rolled us

They always seem to pull things together come finals time, they have a range of young kids to older blokes in their side who have a lot of experience playing finals.
Difficult to determine but who will finish in the top four?

Frank Dichiera. Top bloke. Great club person. Good footballer. Played most of last year in snrs with Red Cliffs. Holcroft Medallist and Red Cliffs 2's B&F in 2005 (possibly won more club b & f's prior to this).
There would be a lot of clubs who would like to have someone of his quality as coach.
Will he be playing or coaching from the sideline??

I can't see WW's 2's playing in the finals, can never get the numbers, last couple of years something like 60-70 blokes played within the year.
Frank will play, maybe fringe 1's player, any1 else coming with him do you know?

Nah not sure.
I wouldnt write WW off playing finals. I know they struggle for numbers but the teams Ive put in the bottom 4 all look to be struggling atm with blokes leaving and not many coming.. Esp Red Cliffs and South Mildura. WW may scape teams together and with Frank there they are a shot at finals..

We have no problems with numbers. What we have lost, our juniors coming through have replaced. Half the players who have put in for transfers didn't play or get a game last year.
Imps will win the two's again this year and Irymple should be stronger

Mallee Boy, has that gun Anthony 'Dino' Trimboli hit the track yet? Now there is raw talent. :D Tried to get him to play for the cliffs this year but he wont budge. I know last season we pretty much had to use anyone that rocked up on saturday, i think it will be same case this year.

Many numbers at South? Rob Morgan will be a big loss. Played on him last season in the 2's down the back line and got a towelling.

Haven't seen Mr trimboli yet, heard he has been doing pre season with Collingwood hoping to be picked up as a rookie.
Numbers no problem with over 40 trained so far, nice if they would turn up more often through.
Morgs will be a huge lose, very good leader.
 
im not sure why merbein is in everyones bottom 3. A lot of their seconds players were playing seniors last year due to injuries. But the injuries have healed and some new blood has come in. So those player should be back into the 2s this year....they should be at least competative. No doubt imps or maybe irymple will win, but i think the pies will win some games this year. Time will tell i spose

the game was there to be won danny but nobody would put their hand into the fire and be the difference,,plenty of chances that werent taken:mad:

if frank plays 1 s at wenty they have no hope of making finals,thats not having a crack at frank either.

Mayne to coach Imps

Imps boys have a large number at training. Looking for 4 on the trot. The young blokes that played well in the 2nds will be pushing for the 1st this year. So fingers crossed they play well in the 2nd in the mean time and take their chance when they get one in the 1st.
