Super Coach 2006

Yeah i have 200k in the salary left, so need to use that asap!!! BUT i cant see any point in upgrading rix or ryder - there isnt any ruckmen worth picking.

That's the problem I got as you can see from a few earlier post. There are only a handful of decent ruckman. I've already got Simmonds, White and Fraser. I used Hamish McIntosh last week who did ok. But I'm still wondering who to get for my 4th ruckman since Cox is down.

Thanks for all the people who anwered my question, getting all different answers there which makes it tough

Here's my take on the ruckman.


Ottens - Can score big, but is a bit hot and cold for my liking.
Mooney - Hot and cold.
Charman - Seems to go pretty well, lions only real ruckman. So will get most gametime.
Hille - Same as charman.
Petrie - Seems to be scoring pretty well as of late, can he keep it going?

I think out of those I'll get either Charman, Hille or Petrie.

I just want a ruckman who can score 80 + points a game and I think those 3 are the only ones who have more of a chance of doing that.

But who too pick is an interesting one

Nothing is a sure bet. Found that out last week with Brad Johnson agst lowly Roos. Have gone for him again but am haunted by the adage about "throwing good money after bad"

So yeah, reasonably happy.

Judd as cpt is worth about 3 blokes as usual

how good is sackthecoachs team! he is leading the comp by 600 odd points and this week scores around 2250, and has players such as j brown, c cornes, brock maclean sitting in his bench! also had nathan brown who only got 3 points

I dont think anyone will beat this bloke.

i'm flying in supercoach. scored 2498 this week and am now 28th.

Finished with 2257 which puts me up to around 1750th. Aiming just to sneak inside top 1000 by season`s end. Cemented top 4 spot in my league. No trades left but will have a good crack in the finals (its a pretty mouthy top 8). LOL - plenty of niggly motivation for all

sack the coach should already be planning what to do with his 20 grand. He is a cut above, my "team a roo roo" has made it to 6th but it is very tough at the top, fell to 10th and then this week got 2214 and fell to bloody 16th! Im out of trades and desperately need cornes back to have another crack at top ten. I've found that playing for the biscuits in the big league could cost me premeirship bragging rights against my mates, they all have trades up their sleeves and could swamp me in the finals.
I go with the theory that whoever is playing agaisnt hawks, blues are dons generally gets my captaincy, hasnt failed me yet.
