There's a report out today that records a dramatic drop in support of Australia's high migration intake down to just 28%. The Morrison government is set to reduce the intake to around 160,000, however this is still an extraordinary high number at a point when most countries are trying ro reduce their population.
Many of the issues apparent now to do with congestion and high house prices have long been predicted, yet governments have ignored these issues while ramping up migration. What do people think, what is an appropriate population target and rate of growth?
