There were actually 2 or so similar suspensions a week or so ago to players like Montagna. It's pretty much in line with what's been happening this year.

Thought there was absolutely nothing in that, and there was enough reasonable doubt to suggest that there wasn't enough to find him guilty.

AFL legal counsel Jeff Gleeson SC conceded Swan had not intentionally tried to trip Blease but argued the Tribunal could draw an inference that he had recklessly left his right leg outstretched knowing it might trip Blease.
