Test series, especially in Australia seem to be decided by who bats the least crap these days. I put it down to T20 cricket which emphasises no footwork and just hitting the ball as hard as one can. Hence, very few batters seem to have the technique to survive playing on wickets that have a bit of life in them.

This game will be decided by whether Harry Brook gets away with swinging like a gate. If he gets a quick 50, Poms win.
Agree. If one of the poms slashes at everything and gets away then all of a sudden bazball is great and they will continue to play it as they go on their merry way to obscurity.
