Ryan O'Connor was nicknamed "Rock" because of his size, and because of his intials (ROC)
When Ryan O'Keefe (ROK) arrived, he was called Pebbles because a pebble is a little rock

Pebbles is a great knickname. But I might just let his teammates call him that. Just can't bring myself to cheer him on as Pebbles since it's also Anthony Rocca's knickname for similar reasons.

It'll just have to respectfully remain Rhino for me

I have these 8 asian members who sit behind me and they are absolutely hilarious, they made up the name and it's just stuck. Auskick 'cus he looks like the little guys playing at half time.

In the Footy Record we bought at one game last year there was an unscramble-the-players-name puzzle. One of the clues was HAM STEW... which we worked out was meant to be Ben MATHEWS.

This nickname for Benny has now stuck because, let's face it, sometimes his game can be about as inspiring as eating some ham stew!
