If we were a St Kilda, North etc. type run club and committed with going mills as our skipper after the circumstances that unfolded, he'd for sure be criticizing us for that decision. If you listen to an earlier Horse interview there's a blink and you miss it comment where he says they had to 'wait a while' re the Mills captaincy. So the decision was probably made at the start of pre-season last year. They simply waited for over dramatic hysteria to die down.

Never understood the hate he gets. Yes I don't always agree with him but I would rather an AFL media personality actually give interesting opinions that some will disagree with rather than playing it safe and only giving opinions everyone would agree with.

I love listening to Kane. Unless so many others in the media, he's not afraid to call it as he sees it, irrespective of whether it will upset a few or not.

I actually really liked Fox's predicted round 1 team.

Personally, I don't see anyway in which Campbell misses out on the first 23 to start the season. Would have him in over any of Jordon, Wicks or Roberts in that 23. Do understand they are not all like for like players too. Not that I dislike any of those three players either but I think Campbell did enough last season to at least ensure a spot in the senior team to start the season. We shall see. Good to have what looks to be pretty solid depth and choices to make.

In my opinion 2016 should have been an all NSW GF. Giants have as much right to feel aggrieved at their treatment that year as we did.

Don't think anyone needs to be being untruthful. Manager approaches Sydney (like Adams' did), Beatson says "this is what we'd be prepared to do", manager takes it back and Barrass says "yeah, nah". No meetings.

Barrass does not strike me as particularly intelligent, just the way he spoke seemed a bit odd.

Finally someone (both Bucks and Cornes) has recognised the Swans in 2024.
So much talk of Brizzy and the pies (f**ken hate the pies!) and maybe deservedly so
But Carlton and the Giants?? give us a break.. All the hype is based around those two teams having good ends to last season..

Yes Cane, the Swans are stacked, and yes Bucks they will be a massive challenger in 2024

Whether you like them or not they are a bloody good footy team & club. They have more father/sons than Eton & Harrow combined. I mean they must have a breeding program going on

Beetson working for 12 years with Brisbane for their 3 premierships.
He then went to Adelaide for a bit before joining Sydney in 2006 where he has been since.
He would meet with that many players each year that it is not funny.
He has been at clubs that have produced premierships.
Barass, a senior player has not heard of him? I doubt that. Kinnear would have interviewed players currently at West Coast and he has not heard of him. I doubt that.

Barass seems insecure. he is covering up something or making excuses for his behavior.
