Last game of the H&A season, need to finish strongly for confidence and momentum. Who knows we might even finish top 4 if a few results fall out way. Need a full 4 quarters performance which has (imo) been lacking for the last few weeks, don't want a significant drop off in between the quarters or halves.

I'm sure that we all remember Rd 6 this year. Pretty much summed up our first 1 and a half month of footy really. We were harrased, out played and out worked all around the ground. Mills being targeted and no response either. I'm sure if these tactics are tried upon by Carlton today we will respond harder than ever.

We win this easy in the end but not without early frustrations in a very defensive game.
97-54. Carlton will struggle to get past 30 in the first half.
Tippo 3 first half goals. Reid 3 goals. Buddy 1 goal.
Hayward with some dazzling forward pressure, reinforcing his worth to our forward line with a couple goals.

Kennedy will take a back seat to see what the second tier can do. Heeney to tear some blue arseholes as he was our best player last time around in his first game back.

Tippo, Rampe, Jack, Macca & Towers didn't play last time. Hanners, B Jack, Laidler, Rose & Paps not playing this time around.

Two things I'll be interested in:

Buddy looking for a huge game to wrestle the Coleman away from Kennedy and Daniher. Unlikely though.

Also it's a huge game for the fringe players like Sinclair, Tippett, Towers and Cunningham. Hayward wouldn't want another stinker either.

Exactly my thoughts AG. To make you feel even more relaxed, think back to how you felt after the loss to Carlton earlier in the season.
I know how I felt walking away from the MCG that day. Very annoyed that we didn't stand up to these frauds challenging for another spoon.
Without any reports, I want to beat these flogs up.
