Your thoughts on the game, matchups, predictions etc etc.
Ward should go out for us with Bate or Chris Johnson coming in, Robbo shouldn't play due to his knee preventing him from being at his best and Ben Holland may come in for him.
How about the Swans side?

Swans side should probably remain unchanged i think. I don't recall any injuries. But i think the danger man could be Aaron Davey, who would we play on him? I also think we could stretch the Dees backline, not sure how they will cover Hall, Davis, O'Keefe who we could throw up there and O'Loughlin who is looking very dangerous.

Schneider and Crouch will probably share Davey.

Roos has already said that Kennelly will come back in this week, with McVeigh probably the obvious one to fall out.

In: Kennelly & Doyle (if fit)

Out: Chambers and ?

I don't know about McVeigh being dropped, granted he wasn't one of our best but his goal before 3/4 team was kicked under extreme pressure and he also had a couple of touches in that period in the 3/4 quarter which went along way towards us winning in the game.

If Doyle is fit then I can see him coming into the side for Chambers, park him in the goal square and try and un-balance the Melbourne defence.

If there is one week when Goodes may ruck this may be it with Jolly as White does not present the crash and bash type ruckman that Goodes struggles with. Would not surprise me to see Goodes start as a Ruck Rover then move to Jeff White for around the ground. Jolly & Doyle then can either go forward or back depending on match-ups.

Actually I forgot to mention that Crouch looked far from fully fit, remember him coming off heavily favouring his right leg. Regardless of the record, his history, etc. etc. he should be there if he is a long way from being fit.

I remember Roos putting Doyle in the square at TD in 2004 and it swung the game the Swans way. That's why I'd like to bring in an extra tall just in case that happens, preferably Ben Holland as he can play either end.

I'm making a big statement here(for me anyway) but I don't think Tadhg will be back this week. But hey I'm leaving the country so if I'm proven wrong I won't know any different.
