Comp won't be starting till December, Bidding will close November 1. I'm doing it this early to give everyone ample time to get their entries together and design them.

How bidding will work this season:

• Everyone from last season has first choice.
• People from last season can use their current team or change their location, name or colours.
• People that had a team in a certain location last season will get priority for that location over people that had a different location last time.
• Teams only allowed in Australia and New Zealand.

Proposals for changes to the competition that would be implemented for Season 02.

CONFIRMED:

• Inclusion of New Zealand teams for the league.

PROPOSED:

• Addition of an alternative uniform, which would have a contrast to the home uniform.
• Addition of a single number font.
• Reworked format: Addition of two Conferences (play each other once then knockout finals series). The conferences could be split from the more experienced designers and the newer/less experience designers or by locations.

Yeah if there's a change kit it definitely doesn't need a set theme.

Don't see the point of a cricket clash, so maybe make this a one off round with either a set theme (NYE round perhaps?) or just leave it up to the designer to decide what they want to do (I think this will lead to a better looking round)

Probably just limits what people can do in terms of design, don't see any real gains out of adding this.

Don't go down the route of trying to split the 'experienced' from the 'newer' designers, or at least don't have this as the primary objective of the conferences it's only going to get nasty. I'd say split the top four seeds from last years comp and then randomise the rest of the teams. Locations is really pointless imo in a fictional design comp based around a sport that doesn't use them.

I don't see the point of having an experienced/beginner split given they both play in the same finals anyway.
