Two young players who really stood up in the heat of the battle.

I have never been a big fan of Wiggins but yesterday he showed me he can play. Good disposal, and plenty of running through the lines was just what we needed.

Let's hope these two players can string a few good games together.

cheers

Agreed. Davies has always had talent, I just thought it was as a midfielder not a goalkicker. Should leave him there for a while because he is good under pressure, good positional play and has a very good leap to boot.

Wiggins .... well who wouldn't love someone who attacks every contest like he does. Things used to go wrong for him before when he attacked the ball but now he is gaining a sense of timing, it is looking a hell of a lot better. Can't help but like the guy and the way he approaches his work with enthusiasm.

was impressed with both. davies is going to be a very very very good player in a couple of years time and Wiggo...it took me a couple fo times to realise that it was him picking up the ball and kicking it. Honestly some of the guys need name tags ;)

Also credit to Hulme for his last qtr antics. One of his pack handballs was brilliant and resulted in a goal to Scoots

Great post Prebble.

I have been sick and tired of people bagging players like wiggins and hulme because it is beginning to sound like richmond supporters bagging their players.

Davies will not look back from here, class written all over him...

Yeah agree with you on the Richmond call NBB.

I think that's all Wiggins and Davies needed, was a game where they had a major influence. Must be pleasing for Pagan and the match committee to see these boys showing that they CAN play.

Always been a big fan of Davies - good to see us getting some vindication & reward for his selection (pick 11 I think 2001 or 2).
& To think he almost did a (almost)Tarrant & go home, never to play again.
As for Wiggins, I will gladly eat my words if he continues to put in efforts like that.
Too far & few between.
I hope I am horribly wrong in my previous assesments & baggings of the bloke.
It was so pleasing to see that the 2nd & 3rd tier was the group that go us over the line in the last quarter - we have some A list guys that could really improve & make us a much better side.
