OK, today (Thursday) i took the day off work. was just too hungover to go in (soft i know).
the quick explanation given when i called was that my head was throbbing because on tuesday night i slipped and hit my head and got three stitches in my chin. now they've seen my stitches so that part is easily believable...
but is it a bit of a stretch that i felt pretty much close to fine on wednesday only to wake up on thursday with a blazing headache and throbbing jaw??
i've started with it so i have to stick with it. but i'm going to say i spoke to my doctor back in sydney and i'm not sure whether to say either a) he said its unusual for the pain to come back 24 hours later so i should get it x rayed as soon as i can, or b) he said its quite common to have a pain-free period than it all hit you some time later so unless the pain is still there on monday i needn't bother with an x ray unless i feel that i should get one
what angle is the safest one?? wouldn't normally care but i've taken too many days off lately.
