I understand what you mean, it just seems like he's in the prime position to chase and lay a tackle more often than anyone else in the team. I for example, constantly notice him in the foreground when an opposition player is bursting towards their forward 50, just sort of half-running after them, maybe he just stands out. Everyone needs to lift their tackling BIGTIME as we're the worst tackling side in the league.

I notice it of a lot of players. But TV angles are deceiving.

Don't get me wrong o i would love for him to work a bit harder when we don't have it. But he is far from the worst offender in the side but its constantly harped on about when its Tambling. Deledio especially gets a free ride in this sense.

Exactly Wookie.....that's been my point for weeks.
Bling has an offensive pace, and a lower defensive pace.
(And to other supporters.....don't bring up one instance of him catching someone, cause that isn't his entire game)
He half runs after players MOST of the time.
He one arm, half tackles MOST of the time.
And watch him when the balls near him and he needs to be defensive. More than likely he's standing near 2 other Richmond players instead of being accountable. He wanders the ground like a nomad.

Now watch an opposite example in Kingy look around to see that everyone has a man, that he has man, wherever Kingy is on the ground. Tambling is unaware or hates the defensive aspect of footy.

forget what number he wwent in the draft. he isnt a bad player - perhaps not as good as predicted, but there are worse players going around than him. give the kid a break
