I want southern cross tattoo but undecided where to get it, anyone got any goood pics of theirs or any other tattoo's for that matter

Why not. Join the other 50 bazillion guys walking around with southern cross tattoos,none of whom know the words to the national anthem. Makes them at least 20% tougher though.

Lachy, forgetting the negativity expressed by others.... *shaking head at postings above*.. put it wherever you like and for that matter GET whatever you like.

I don't have one but totally understand the appeal.

A tattoo is a personal thing, and yes there are plenty of plonkers that have them but I'm sure plenty of non-plonkers do too.

Just don't get it on your forehead...too showy. :)

Thanks valentino, i love the idea but fear i may be too cynical to have inspiring lyrics written there. I will certainly think about this idea further though.

I've thought of that, i've also thought of drips of blood and scars but it's not what i'm after and mildly witty, AT BEST, in reality morbid and freakish.

i could tattoo cartoon stick figures to represent some of my friends, or my chinese horrorscope, or what is that flower in the movie adaptation? that could make a nice tatt or the outline of a few stars.

Nothing is jumping out at me.
 
Don't get a tattoo of the southern cross, when I was overseas every w***er aussie had one.

Be original. There are plenty of other options to show your aussie pride than getting a southern cross on your chest.

Heck get the coat of arms, or an outline of the country.

or a coat of arms, with the shield in the shape of australia, with a southern cross in the middle of the shield...
