Yep ladies and gents and everything in between, its hard to believe but Chris The Prodigal Son Tarrant reaches a 250 games milestone this weekend.

I'm sure most of us had mixed feelings about him in his younger and not so professional days but his return to the Club has been a pure masterstroke by everyone concerned :thumbsu:
Not only he's been vital to us due to Browny's injury, his comeback to the Club definitely serves as a slight motivation to his mates at the Club to keep on working hard to snag another Flag but he's also undoubtedly a perfect role model to the younger blokes due to his perfect understanding of ups and down that kids go through.
Oh and his form this year after an expected slowish start has been sensational.

Lets celebrate his carer in style.

That final picture you posted is probably my favorite memory of Tazza in a Collingwood jumper. The passion is just written all over his face and I'd take this over the countless highlights of his massive screamer's and drilling goals from 50 earlier in his career.

Great to have you back Taz and 300 is definitely a possibility with the form you're showing. My favorite player since I was 13 and I wish you were celebrating this landmark in front of a huge crowd at the home of football so we could all be there.

A premiership medallion for one of our beloved sons would be the icing on some sweet Magpie cake. :D

I still feel a tinge of happiness everytime I hear a commentator say the name Tarrant while he's made his comeback to the black and white. 250 games is a huge achievement, good on him.

Hi everyone

I hope you dont mind butting in and join in wishing Taz a great 250th - he deserves a win.

Cant believe its been 250...makes me feel old LOL :D

My favourite magpie throughout this decade.

Was gutted when we traded him.

His return has been nothing short of sensational.

A magpie for life.

250th....a fantastic achievement. Hopefully a premiership medallion follows for a prodigal son.

He has to be picked first.:p;)

Maybe a Darren Jolly like virus might hit the Tarrant household this week, so Taz can play his 250th in Melbourne.:p

Gratz to Taz, a superstar of this club, who did his penance and time in purgatory (well Freo) and has returned to be part of our dynasty.:)

Congrats to him. Im going to Adelaide on the weekend for my first Interstate game cant wait. Hope he has a huge game and they can him a goal.;)

Wish I could see him play his 250th, loved him as a young kid, and I love him being back!

Was my equal favourite player along with Didak before he left and now he is a close second. When he left I was so shattard but at the same time I always had a small feeling that he could come back. Now that he is back, its time to get him a premiership. Congrats on 250 games, great effort by Tazza.

Great that he is playing his 250th

but without wanting to be seen as too One Eyed when does he play his 200th in the Black n White.

What a fantastic story, truly the prodigal son, should we do what is expected this year, there are going to be a lot of fantastic stories, probably none better than Tazz.

Was my 2nd fave behind Bucks before he left.

God it feels great to have him back. Want a premiership medal for him so so much.

Could easily go to 300 if he stays injury free. Should get the 300 during finals in 2013.

Seems like only yesterday that Eddie was having to convince him to come back for his second or third season. Didn't he want to pack it all in and go on a surfing trip? Where did the time go?

Was happy to trade him out at the time and was ambivelent to his return. Pretty gald now though because he has been very good after a slow start and will be important in September which is the point of the exercise.

Overall it's been a good career. Should have been better because it took a long time for him to setttle down but he's now playing with the right attitude and will hopefully retire a 300 game multiple premiership player. 2 more seasons after this one should do it.

My feelings too

Was sent away at the right time, and has come back with an exemplary attitude so many kudos to him:thumbsu:

This bloke bleeds Collingwood. Love the picture in the OP of him grabbing the jumper.

One of my fondest memories was him kicking the goal after the siren to pinch the win against Adelaide at AAMI stadium back in 2002/2003.

Great to see him play 250 games!

Really hoping we go back to back this season and get him a premiership.

wonderful stuff, always loved the Taz!! have resurrected my avatar I used a few years back on Nicks, although I'll have to change the size

one of my favourite memories was that pack mark against Melbourne, the crowd went completely nuts
