lol sounds like you were spectating in bay 13. i had a great crowd around me up at the top of dome directly on the side.

one negative would be the centre clearances and i thought Jack did not hold his own in the back line. Against a great side he would absolutely be demolished.

Actually the goal ump said that daisy touched it with his hands and that the ball was over the line before it got to his boot.

Personally I thought it was a goal, but it was very close, and even the replays weren't totally conclusive

My take is the opposite actually Quicky.

For once, I was at the game rather than the armchair spectator in Canberra, and was seated deep in the forward pocket, with a pretty clear view across the goal-line.

It thought it was 100% clear Thomas got possession of the ball about 30 cms before the line, and to his boot about 60cms over the line.

It looked like a mistake by him, in that he should have shepherded the ball across the line.

Having said that, I've seen no replays, but I got a great view and was in zero point zero doubt at the time.

As an aside, being in Melbourne this week on hols, what days/time do the boys train that would be open to the public?

And where is Gosch's paddock, out in the country somewhere?

Hey TD, If the oval is in the same place in Coburg, take the upfield line to coburg station. Get off the train and walk across Sydney Road to the oval. I think its about all of about a 5 minture walk
