Very strong and well balanced team.

*Probable inclusions to the 18 -
O'MEARA - needs to play one VFL H & A and NOT play AFL
O'ROURKE - as long as he does not play AFL

Possible but unlikely -
DURYEA - would need to play the last three VFL games
FRAWLEY/PUOPOLO/GIBSON - needs to play one VFL H & A and NOT play AFL again

Isn't there a maximum number of listed players the affiliated sides can play when there isn't a team playing in the AFL?
IIRC 14? Unless the opposition permits otherwise.

In previous years there was a restriction on the number of AFL listed players that could play when the AFL team wasn't participating. AFL Victoria is yet to confirm the rules for this year's finals campaign, so it's all up in the air.

I think the club has made it known that it would like O'Meara to play VFL games between now and the end of Box Hill's season.

Surely the vfl should have had finals eligibility rules set in stone prior to the season so the clubs know where they stand.
I can see them penalising our strong Box Hill side somehow.

They will probably introduce a rule that bans any player who has played 2 or more AFL games. That would have some sort of impact on us.
