Team List Today

I am looking forward to seeing the squad list later today. Like others I anticipate Hansen will play. That will be very interesting as he is just what we need - a big mark grabber somewhere near the goals. I'm also hoping that Woosha goes with the young-uns, The likes of Butler and Waters. Selwood should come back in as he is going to be a fine player for us midfield wise. With probably the youngest team in the AFL doing so well, great things lie ahead for this team in 2005 / 2006, maybe even towards the end of this year. I still believe we can make the 8 with our bunch of young-uns and that will be a better feat than Woosha's accomplishment of getting into the 8 in the last two years.
There's far more promise.

If he is named in the 22 he plays unless he spends the whole game on the bench and I dont think that is very likely.

Hansen on debut is long overdue, good luck to him. I like the side, would look better with Gardiner and Gaspar but we cant have it all. Hope the 22 named are the 22 that play as I have no faith in Carroll or Adkins and dwindling faith in Morrison.

great to see Hansen given a go.

I think the worst thing we could've done is let him go at the end of the year without even giving him a run.

I'm a firm believer that EVERY player you pick up should get at leat one (if not two or three) run before you cut them.

The reason for that is that some players really need to be playing at the top level before you can see their full potential. Even if a player is struggling in the WAFL/VFL or whatever, you should still at least give them a bit of a go to see what they can do at AFL level.

Well Carroll came in for Waters and actually played well. We still sucked though.
