I really like the look of this team, it just looks so much quicker. Its not rocket science..play to our strengths.

I for one will not be blaming team selection if we lose this game.

But luck to welshy and dyson. Dysons knee is clearly not right..dont think we should see him again this year.

Credit where its due..knights has picked a good team. Be good to see melksham and colyer play together.

Why?

Deserves a go. Players who play well for Bendigo (and in Houli's case has been for the past 6-7 weeks) deserve to be promoted. Colyer whilst is part of out future needs to perform at Bendigo, likewise Howlett.

For the end of the year what do you guys think about
1) Trading Slattery?
2) Fletcher retiring- given we are now in no contention for top 4 for at least another two years do you think Fletcher should retire? (note: I am not suggesting we push him out at all and any decision he makes should be his) Could allow our defence to actually start being accountable without the safety net of Fletcher always saving them.
3) McVeigh trading?
4) Welsh trading?

Do people really think they sit in the selection meeting and, when someone suggests Houli, Knights says "Nah, I don't really like him. Also, the media."

I like the side. Bit of flexibility on the wings and flanks, and Gumbleton in really straightens us up. Reimers' and McVeigh's skills going inside 50 will be valuable. A fair few midfield rotations as well. Thumbs up.

much better team, only possible worry is stanton and dempseys accountability in defence. emergencies good too. houli myers and prismall would be straight rotations for any of colyer, melksham, howlett and lonergan based on injury/form etc. every selection seems to have its own justification.
