Good Side and Why is JA Named in the Forward Line is Intresting.

Good to See Blair and Rounds in the Emergencies

Named forward because he is replacing Dick - somehow I don't think the Weagles' forward line will trouble our back line too much.

Looks a bit top heavy with Anthony, Brown, Cloke and Dawes...

Anyway good to see Jack back, wouldn't mind seeing him in defence, a player like McKinley would be a perfect match up.

Any idea how long Dick will be out?

Anthony in was a bit of a no-brainer given his VFL performance. Now they have to work out where to play him! Chance to try Heath Shaw up the ground?

Hopefully Jack does play defence, a forward line with Cloke, Dawes, Brown AND Jack is just asking for trouble. Agree with Frankie, McKinley could be a good match up for him.

Who Will come in Rounds or Blair then?

I don't know Dave, with Anthony replacing dick it just seems an oddly tall unbalanced side

Called it..

No change unless Dick isn't fit.

Cox and Nic Nat will monster fraser and wood regardless... i'd rather have Leigh Brown while he's making them accountable. We need to practice sharking their taps as opposed to backing our rucks in. If history shows us anything its that we should be able to that well.

Jolly and Brown hit the scoreboard where it hurts, let em have the taps. Provide a contest and reduce their tap effectiveness, that is the the goal.

If Dick is not up to play I would suggest a different tact.

Medhurst fit = great. Has he found form yet? I didn't hear how he went in the VFL. Either way we should let him play into form and fitness and do the following:

In: Maxwell (if fit)/ Anthony (if needs more resting)

Out: Dick

Anthony or Goldsack to fill either Harry O's or Heaters spot and one of them move to the wing, Daisy up to HFF and Sidebottom to fill Dicks position... (hahahaha) Would prefer Heater up on the wing as i think O'Brien should go to LeCras.

Goldsack should hold his position.. Had the highest amount of 1%ers and was very solid down back.

Interesting to see where Anthony will line up... Leigh brown was listed as a back pocket last week so maybe its fun and games...

Seriously, what is happening here, that's 2 weeks in a row we have had the 100% correct selection.

Jack deserved a game, and he gives us plenty of versatility.:thumbsu::D

I'd love a late out for Blair or Rounds, maybe someone has a "calf" injury.:p

How can that be right if Dick is already out?
:o:o

I was laughing at that, waiting for someone to point it out.

I'd say there might be a late change though, Lockyer or even one of our "big names" might be rested.

Can only see him coming in specifically for a Josh Kennedy or LeCras maybe, otherwise seems like Jack is a pointless selection.

Gees, we've got a wealth of the medium/tall backline riches though,

Maxwell
Goldsack
O'Brien
Reid
Presti
Anthony

Woohoo!! Jack's Back!!

Very surprised to see Rounds and Blair as emergencies. Would have thought Medhurst would at least be among the 25.

Jarryd Blair's elevation to the senior list is an interesting one. Is the club perhaps trying to see whether or not he actually offers anything at senior level before making a decision on his future at season's end?

Roundsy is a player I have high hopes for, despite me thinking he won't play senior footy in 2010. Nonetheless, listed as an emergency shows his hard work is not going unoticed.

We don't need to make a decision on Blair at the end of the year, it's only his second year on the rookie list, and the AFL have extended the "normal" rookie limit to 3 years.

I'd say we are "having a look" at him though in regards to next years list, with the likes of Scott Reed, Tom Young, Lachlan Keefe, Marty Clarke (maybe) and incoming draftees having the potential to be added to the senior list next year.

I'd love to see Blair get a game this week or next, the same goes for Rounds.

I actually think Jack might fill a role down the back and a late withdrawel occurs with Blair or Rounds coming in up forward

Great to see Anthony named. I think his confidence would have sky-rocketed on the back of his absolute dominance in the VFL last week.

Don't think Jack will play down back.

Presti will get Lynch. Reid to start on Kennedy. Harry O had ROK last week so he is a shoo-in to get first crack at Lecras. If not him, will be Toovey or the Sack. No other forward is threatening enough from the Eagles to warrant sending Jack to defence.

He will play up forward and stretch the Eagles defence.

Leroy Brown will be playing like the second ruckman/utility role throughout the night.
