An alternative line-up?

Agree SS - but caution required given his injuries, the fact he already rucked most of the game v Freo against two moving point posts, and given we are travelling. I thought he was pretty heroic in helping us over the line, and the way a few players went to him after the siren they probably think the same.

[QUOTEGeez I hope Milney pulls the finger out for a change (interstate). Don't know whether they have anyone to go with him if he is "up".[/QUOTE]

Hopefully they've put a rocket up him, telling him that if he goes missing on this interstate trip he'll only need to worry about the boat to Tassie in future.

What is it with Milney anyway. Does he have trouble if he's not sleeping in his own bed, or does he sneak out and party. Really a plane to Sydney ( his last fizzer) is no different to sitting down and wathing a movie on TV. Maybe they would be better sending him up the day of the game!

Saints claiming home ground advantage for Carrara
Posted Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:33am AEST

St Kilda chief executive Archie Fraser says he is expecting a home crowd advantage when the side plays North Melbourne at Carrara Stadium on the Gold Coast tomorrow night.

The game is officially recognised by the AFL as a Kangaroos home game.

Fraser says having former Gold Coast juniors Nick Riewoldt and Sam Gilbert on their roster should swing the crowd St Kilda's way.

"I know those boys are looking forward to coming back and we've got a very solid supporter group up here as well, which is great to be able to reward them as well with playing right in their back yard," Fraser said.

"We've got great support in south-east Queensland they pay their memberships each year and we're looking forward to hopefully a home crowd advantage against the Kangaroos on Saturday night."

Fraser says it has been 19 years since the club played on the Gold Coast and the team is excited to be playing there.

"We haven't played up here since '89 so I know the whole playing group were looking forward to getting up here and getting some good weather and taking home the four points in what's a very important game against North Melbourne".

I'm going, generally alot of saints fans up this way as well, wouldn't be a surprize if we had nearly a home ground advantage, people went cold on north up here after they said no to the gold coast.

What the hell?

When the ball is at half forward and there is no one on our 50?
When there is no one in our 50 we bomb it in long?
When the ball needs to be bombed in long we play a little game of kick to kick ?
Why when the midfield square is clusted no one makes an effort to go into space?
Why at a time we need our senior players to stand up they gift 2 goals to the opposition.

We are a joke, we play the worst brand of football ever to touch the game. Our skills are pathetic, our teamwork is pathetic, we are all round pathetic.

The players don't look as if they are trying, they have no motivation.

Melbourne would be belting the Roos at the moment, says a lot for our side.
