Good to see Pickett back. You would think there will be at least 1 and up to 3 late changes (Rivers, Neitz, Green & Jones in doubt).

Hard to say, probably Neitz or Rivers. But then we don't really know how bad Green/Jones are.

The fact that Smith is an emergency, not Dunn means that if Neitz is out, Smith has to come in.

I'm an unabashed Doggy Brown fan and have got a bit of a sick feeling in my guts that he might not be able to break back into the team when finals come around. He pretty much has to cut sick in the VFL this week to get his name back up there.

I just feel that he has played really well in the finals he has been in with the dee's and he can be relied upon to do the job in a final- exactly what you need in the big games. I know its a tough gig this AFL caper and that you have to pick the best team on form. I'd be interested to hear what others think, is he worth having in the team coming into the busuiness end of the season? He's got himself over the injuries and it would be terrible one of the clubs most admirable servants doesn't get to be a part of some serious finals action and hopefully the holy grail.

Brown has been a great servant of the club, but then so has Bizzell, so has Nicholson.

When it comes to finals, you have to pick your best 22 regardless of whos been here longer etc.

And sadly, hes not in the best 22.

Interesting to see Sylvia in the emergencies. IMO he is an austomatic selection in the 22, however Danners may not want too many un-match fit players (TJ, Brock, Davey, pickett). However it is not giving Syl much time if he is just going to be back for round 22. Would not surprise me to see him come in for green.

By looking at the emergencies, I think we can say that Neitz and Jones look like the two who may miss out. Smith comes in for Neitz, Sylvia for Jones. After last week, I don't think we will want to put Miller down back, so Rivers will play, as will Green.

In all honesty, it will be good to see Smith back in the 1s if he does get the call up, in years gone by I always thought he could play out of the square for us once Neitz retired.
