He has no form, has had under 10 possessions 2 weeks in a row. Only reason he might be in is to take a Lecras or someone like that.

Love the centre line, all time great wings in Toovey and Cox, with an 18 yo kid in the middle.

#6. Tyson Goldsack (5k, 5h, 1m, 4t): Used primarily in defence and didn’t get a lot of it.

It's mindblowing as to how Leigh Brown, Alan Toovey and even Shannon Cox suvived after last week. All were terrible.

People will add Cook into that list, however, he has not had a consistent run at it this year unlike the others, so he deserves another week.

Goldsack, whilst out of form, I think is in our best 22 or even 18.

He is much like Wellingham. Nothing really to get excited about at VFL level, however, they go up a notch at AFL level. They just adjust to the tempo so well and contribute.

I wouldn't have dropped Beams, particularly as the above players I mentioned survived.

Also, agree that we look too tall, however at least Wood will provide relief for Fraser. Finally!

Dick or Beams should be playing for one of the talls- I'd say Leigh Brown.

Our forward line looks like crap too. outside of Pendles and Davis. Heater also aint a forward. God we miss Cloke, Rus, Dids Medders and Daisy.

this is becoming such a joke!
leigh brown keeps his spot even though we FINALLY will be playing 2 ruckman.
the only reason i can see that this has happened is that the coaches are wary of Josh's condition. but why wouldnt they just drop leigh brown and keep him on the plane as an emergency.

i have a feeling there'll be a late change or two, brad dick could come in as the side looks tall.

also, goldsack had 7 (approx) touches in the vfl last week good to see MM is picking on form!

That team is an absolute joke....... I have never got on this site and sH8tcanned the side thats chosen but I cannot help it this time:

Why:

1. From all reports (including the VFL coach) Goldsack has been far from his best in the twos. When in the seniors has been woeful.

2. Whats the message to Stanley. Stanley has been terrific at VFL and gets one go against the best side going around and then chopped. We desperately need a stoppage winner and they cant find a spot for him. Cant tell me its the ground either as he went ok there in NAB Cup. If another club was willing to punt on him he should leave...and he would do so with my best.

3. Toovey - FFS this bloke is hopeless. He is in the side to tag and has been belted the last two weeks. Sure he tries his ring off but it just aint up to AFL standard.

4. L.Brown - This smacks of Mick just wanting to say stuff ya to everyone else. We are way to tall and with two rucks its hard to know what his role is. Seems to be CHF - who then are OBrien, Maxy, Goldy, Presti, Reid and Brown going to mark. Maybe Fraser aint playing!

5. Corrie - Sure he had a bad game last week but he showed us vs North he can play well. Thats more than Toovey or L.Brown have shown us. And on a big ground pace is critical.

6. Surely this team is far to big. On a ground like Subi pace is a must. So beams and corrie out for two talls.

In saying that I hope we win and am proven very wrong!

toovey not carrying a spare tyre helps in this regard cox and corrie take note
