40 touches on Anzac day, yet one of Buckley's least effective games. When a team is belted by 11 goals and you have Hird BOG and Lloyd 6, Cupdio 5 amongst others, Buckley was lucky to get 2. But the umps seemed to even it up throughout the course of the night.

Anyone thought about the round 21 game where Buckley got a vote???

Think he had 13 kicks and 4 handballs and was probably beaten by Kirk.

He missed out of votes in big games - and yet got one there. There were plenty of good pie players that week...

Still - after all these years - he deserved it.

Yeah but he had like 9 tackels or something like that...I thought that in Rd 22 against the bombers he deserved more then Hird, probly deserved two ahead of hird definately
