Ended up naming our new girl Sadie. I'm still not sure if I like it.
I don't.

(But what do you care?)

Update on sister's baby. They claim they are still undecided but they consistently refer to her as Poppy (because she was the size of a poppy seed when they found out) so I reckon it will stick. I still prefer Lilly but it could be much, much worse.

Going to assume conceived via IVF otherwise I call bullshit

My sister and her now husband called their first born Aleeah, which was named after a kid off Teen Mom on MTV. That was when they were unmarried, very young, living at home and very poor. As I said in the Chrisco thread... Bogans.

Sadie is fine. Not a personal favourite of mine but at least it's a recognised name and doesn't have some brain dead ****ed up spelling like saydee or some shit

Stupid spellings are so normalised now that my name (with a very normal spelling) was written in a text message by someone who hadn't seen it written down before, replacing an I with a Y and duplicating a couple of the consonants. I don't even- :shrugs: It's not like my name is that unusual. You could've legitimately spelled it with an X or something (some obscure variant from another language), but instead you use a Y and some double letters and stuff?! :drunk::drunk:
