Listining to 6PR's 9:30 sports segment this morning I heard Tim say that Freo are go great guns despite a few injuries. Forget the actual words but they were something like "burning" "oin fire" etc.

Last Friday, however, he said Freo have got real problems - big problems.

A lot must have happened in the last week! Was funny to listen to.

I find it astonishing we are installed as favourites to progress this week given our outs. I reckon WC would be worth a flutter if I was a) a betting man and b) prepared to spend 5000 years in hell being tortured by purple demons as penance for doing so.

The only way we will lose is if we decide not to play to our potential because the Eagles best team is still not up to the standard of our team for Sunday, even with all the exclusions.

You do have the advantage of playing fresh players in the 2nd game against a side that's already played a half. Hawthorn clearly have the worst draw as they cop both opponents first up.

I dunno, I suppose it's because generally the bottom feeders from last year really want to impress in the Nab to get the fans onside early whereas I don't think we will take it all that seriously. Don't get me wrong, I think we should account for Hawthorn pretty easily but I won't be surprised if The Eagles take it all a bit more seriously than we do. Worsfolds' job is hanging by a thread and being wooden spooners doesn't sit all that well with the Chardonnay set. I think we'll be happy with the hitout but not all that worried if we win.

Jack Watts even played like a number one draft pick last night at times, albeit a pre season game.

I think the Crows rested most of their big guns for the first game and brought them all in for the game against Port. If West Coast had any big guns, they'd probably do the same against us. They should call their mates at the coffin cheaters to organise some.

Port were just shithouse in both games.

Can not agree. Hawthorn has most of their team missing and Eagles need to win but really are still Krap.
I predict an easy win over Hawthorn and a tight game against the Eagles but a narrow win.
We are not that good that we can afford to go half speed and then put the foot on the accelerator when we feel like it.
Also the blokes in for the 1st time will be trying pretty hard I would think.
