It's time. Time to list the deflections of Terry Wallace and how he always manages to spin his way out of the poo.

To get the ball rolling lets look at this two most recent:

1. The Punt Road ground is not up to scratch and it effects our performance

2. We had a 10 day break and lost our 'mojo'.

Feel free to add your favourite Wallat deflections.

Terry Wallace is the secret behind seam bowling.

How was he allowed to get away with saying "We're planning towards 2011"? After recruiting guys like McMahon, Simmonds, Polak and Kent Kingsley?

I think your misinterpreting "Planning toward 2011" to mean something else? The grand Richmond plan toward securing the #1 and #2 draft picks in 2011 with a first round priority is in full bloom and looking great :thumbsu:

What he said "Joel would be the first to say his form hasn't been where he would like it to be"

What he meant "It's Joel's turn to be scapegoat this week and so far, he's doing a great job"

Richmond players look puffed because there is only 21% oxygen in the air. Terry believes other clubs get a higher percentage of oxygen in their air, thereby giving them an advantage.

I think most of us are up to giving Wallace shit at the moment, since his coaching performance on the weekend was an absolute disgrace.

However, i dont think your point is very clear at all. Of the four there, only McMahon was the standout of a disgusting and stupid decision that will end up costing the club of a quality player like Scott Selwood.

Simmonds was a good pickup, it cost us Aaron Fiora, which is more than fair. Lets not forget his great 2006, as well as his injury last year which was a bit stiff. So far this year, he's looked pretty good.

Polak is copping a bit at the moment, but hes only 23 and hes being played in the wrong position. If you saw Richmond last year at the conclusion of the season, Polak played in the forward line and played much better.

Kingsley was a hack, but only recruited as list insurance. He cost us absolutley nothing, and was delisted at the end of the season. We had nothing other than Richo as far as experienced forwards are concerned. He was there in case Richo went down, Kingsley played little AFL footy, so nothing much there at all. :thumbsu:

Yeah, they're good players, but you need a young ruckmen if you want to be contenders in 3 years time, not an ageing one. Polak was probably the only decent pick up.

But you can't just pick a ruckman out of your arse, we have Simmonds to pick up the slack until we can develop a ruckman good enough, at the moment we have Adam Pattison, a great mover around the ground, average ruckman, good 2nd ruckman choice, Angus Graham, played a couple of games last year, used his body well, is good around the ground, just needs to work on his body a bit more, Dean Putt, drafted in last years draft played for Coburg Reserves on the weekend and kicked 3 goals, will be used more as a forward but also in the ruck.

How can we forget the 'Darren Gasper', get out of jail card that not only kept him in jail but made the jury consider the death sentence for the first time.

"Not enough money is being spent on the football department, I'm outa here!"
TW after round 21 2003

Remember him saying that he was uncomfortable that others would be losing their jobs in the WB footy department due to lack of money so he thought it best that he go?

What a saint of a man! :)

Darren Gaspar was kept around until Will Thursfield came back from his ACL injury, and it worked well, Gaspar also stayed around so he wasn't pissed off.
