I don't think theres been enough love for Murph going on in the new Co-Captains thread or on this board.
IMO Murph has done an excellent job through an incredibly tough time. We didn't have any standout leaders, and Murph grew into the role through hard work and his devotion to the club. He was not a natural leader but set an example and learnt to be a leader. Yes i agree it was the right time to hand the captaincy over, but Murph has been fantastic and in a key reason behind the strength of our young leaders that we have today.
He has copped it a bit over the years, and i think it has been unfairly justified. I hope he can now focus on getting back to his best and holding #17 before he hangs them up.
