There's a good reason why most traditional jumpers have been replaced over the decades. Ours sucks too. I hope I never see that wimpy Blue & Yellow jumper again, and I bet you feel the same about this one. "What the hell are we playing Hawthorn for?" That same person is now mumbling gibberish and wandering aimlessly in a warehouse full of boxes filled with jumpers that no-one wantsThe problem is some marketing type's eyes light up on anniversary games like this and decides they'll blackmail supporters with the "tradition" word - oblivious to how much of an anathema it is to supporters. Think of the added hype, think of the merchandising, think of my bonus. Perhaps the board instructed marketing to "come up with something special for the occasion". Voila.
