The 2006 Priority Pick.

I know it is very early doors and I haven't given up on this season just yet, but can some learned person out there refresh my memory on the changes to the 2006 PP conditions and how many games Carlton needs to win to receive (or avoid) it.

if you have 16 or less points in one year (and finish bottom) you get the 17th pick
ie. an extra pick before the second round
if you have 16 or less points over 2 consecutive years you get the top pick as a priority before the first round
ie pick 1 before the first round starts

as we had 18 points last year we would only qualify for the extra pick 17 if we failed to win more than 16 points

therefore, the 'compelling reasons to tank' have been removed

Maybe a year too early for the blues, but at least the tank talk will stop
